WELCOME TO THE CAMERA CLUB OF BOZEMAN
Photographing Montana and around the globe since 1949.
Camera Club of Bozeman: WHO WE ARE
The Camera Club of Bozeman was established in 1949 and remains a non-profit photography club with a key emphasis on digital photography. Members are dedicated to enjoying and improving photography through educational events and relationships with other members. Activities are designed for members regardless of beginner or advanced capabilities and are comprised of inner-club competitions, critiques, field trips, monthly meetups, assignments, and other activities.
With just over fifty members with a wide range of interests and experiences, meetings cover a variety of topics designed to educate and motivate all photographers. Guest speakers give presentations on a variety of photographic topics and exhibit their work, concluding with question and answer sessions.
Field trips are organized to provide opportunities to photograph different mediums in varying conditions and to learn from fellow members who enjoy sharing their knowledge and experiences with others. In addition to regular club meetings, the club often holds a picnic in July, as well as an annual Christmas party.
The Camera Club is open to new members who love to use a camera, anyone from novice to working professional are encouraged to join. While we certainly enjoy having structured opportunities to learn, we're really just a group of friends getting together to 'geek' out over our cameras and our next opportunity to photograph something that excites us. We're a pretty chill group of people and we hope you'll take in a meeting to find that out for yourself. Occasionally meetings are closed to the general public so please check the calendar to find the next open meeting.
We look forward to meeting you!
